I have a set of templates for you this week, and Oh The Layers!!! Show Off 8 is jam-packed full of layered goodness! These templates are certainly not for the faint of heart, but if you’re up for it, you’ll be able to create stunningly embellished large-photo pages. I felt extra-scrappy this week and actually finished three whole pages! Two are from these templates… you can see them below (first two pages.) I can’t wait to see what you guys do!

Heat Wave

We in the Pacific Northwest were hit with extreme temperatures over the last week, which is very unusual for our area. In my backyard it was in the mid-forties Celsius (over 100F)! I spent my days going between the pool, and the AC indoors. Our poor horses were so hot that I was hosing them off at regular intervals, which they loved. Thankfully we do have one area behind our barn that stays fairly shady and I was able to keep them there for the most part. I love the sunshine and heat, but that was a bit much!

My latest release, Heat Wave, carried on with the theme. Full of summer things like fans, popsicles, and cold drinks, you definitely be able to scrap those hot summer days!

Canada D’Eh

Happy Canada Day! (And a Happy Independence Day to my American friends!) Canada D’Eh is a fun collection featuring the iconic Hudson Bay Company colours mixed with a bit of tongue-in-cheek humour. No, we don’t really wear party tuques (pronounced like the O sound in tooth) but we do love our country and celebrate Canada Day on July 1st…. we’re just a little bit quieter about our patriotism than our friends to the south. With plenty of red and white (and blue!) elements, this kit should have enough versatility to work for all sorts of pages, not just the Canadian ones!
