Do you do the Elf on the Shelf thing?  I resisted for a long time, but when my daughter heard about it from her friends and asked me if we had an elf too… what was I to do?  This is the second year, Mia, our elf, has visited our family and Sarah just absolutely loves her.  The first thing she does upon waking is search for Mia, and her giggles of delight are all the incentive I need to get creative every day.  All I can say is thank goodness for Pinterest!
