It’s a Tomboy Thing

The birthday celebrations continue and it’s Scooper/Dipper weekend at Sweet Shoppe!  We all have fun with these weekends because it gives us a chance to collaborate with one another, and sometimes work with people we haven’t worked with before.  That’s the case this weekend for me.  I teamed up with a couple of oh-so-talented designers, Meagan’s Creations and Laura Wilkerson.  I think you’ll love what we created as much as I do!

The only bummer part about this whole thing is that I was supposed to also be working on a Scoop with the incredibly talented Ru of Studio Basic Designs, but she had some major computer issues this past week and so we couldn’t.  Hopefully I’ll get to do something with her in the near future!

And of course I have a little giftie for you too!

Love Notes

It’s the time of year when we tend to reflect on the people we love.  I’m not a huge fan of Valentine’s Day in general… what’s romantic about being told you “have” to be romantic???  That said, I am a big fan of telling people how you feel about them and showing them is even better!  This week’s release is all about the Love Stuff!

Winter Woods

There are few things quite as perfect as that utter silence and stillness that comes just after it’s snowed.  I just love everything about it… the peace, the quiet, the stillness, and even the smell!  I’m lucky enough to live very near quite a large wooded parkland area and we’re fairly secluded, which means that the quiet lingers on.  There’s something about that special silence that brings me perfect contentment… if even for only a short while.

Happy February!  This month begins our birthday celebrations over at Sweet Shoppe and also marks my one year anniversary of joining them!  It’s been an amazing year working alongside many of my designer idols!  I’m still so thrilled to be a part of the team.  Our birthday celebrations kick off with a big sale and of course, our Party Game-A-Day challenges.  You’ll want to play along because there’s some really awesome goodness to be won!

I’ve had some requests to re-release my more clustery templates so you’ll be seeing more of those coming soon, starting with these Walk the Line sets.  The look has been updated a bit but they’re the same old favourites.  I’m happy to be bringing these back actually, because it gives me an excuse to scrap with them again!  LOL  If you know my typical scrapping style at all, then you’ll know I love love love to cluster!
