The best thing about memories is making them!
It’s the time of year when we all get to pretend to be a little bit Irish! St. Patrick’s Day is always a fun celebration for us (although this year will be a little quieter!) We usually try to get together with friends and enjoy a green beer or two, but I suppose this year we’ll just make a toast over a Guinness and call it a day. What kind of shenanigans do you like to get up to?
Who doesn’t love jeans? We all have our favourite pair that we wear until they basically wear out! But even more than the jeans themselves, is the feeling we get when we wear them… that sense of “cool” or casual comfort. They go with anything and can be dressed up or down. Perfection!
This week is all about the templates! I recently participated in the Party Game-A-Day “Guess the Scrapper” challenge where I, and several others, made a page for one of our Sugar Babes with the photos she provided. Participants were to guess who created each page and the one who guessed the most right won a special prize, on top of the participation prize everyone got for playing. I love those games, and I loved the page I created so much that I ended up making a whole set of templates based on it.

I just had to scrap a page for myself (below) and I couldn’t think of an occasion where I needed a little me-time more than the morning after my daughter’s wedding. It was in our backyard and was quite the event! I spent months (and months!) planning and organizing. Happily, it went off without a hitch and I couldn’t have imagined the day any better. Most importantly, my daughter and her new husband were thrilled with their day. But man, was I pooped! The photo in the page was me sitting pool-side enjoying some champagne the next morning. I skipped the OJ for my mimosa and just went straight to the bottle. Someone snapped a photo of me enjoying the moment… captured me pretty well, I’d say!
