The birthday celebrations continue and it’s Scooper/Dipper weekend at Sweet Shoppe! We all have fun with these weekends because it gives us a chance to collaborate with one another, and sometimes work with people we haven’t worked with before. That’s the case this weekend for me. I teamed up with a couple of oh-so-talented designers, Meagan’s Creations and Laura Wilkerson. I think you’ll love what we created as much as I do!
The only bummer part about this whole thing is that I was supposed to also be working on a Scoop with the incredibly talented Ru of Studio Basic Designs, but she had some major computer issues this past week and so we couldn’t. Hopefully I’ll get to do something with her in the near future!
And of course I have a little giftie for you too!

Happy Thanksgiving! (Or Friendsgiving, as the case may be.) I hope all of my American friends have had a wonderful day spent with loved ones!
The entire store is on sale this weekend (including the new releases) and there will be some awesome doorbuster events happening as well, so don’t miss out!
I have two collections to show you today. The first is a re-release of Friendsgiving, for all of you whose friends have become your family. It’s warm and bright and a little bit glittery, just like fun times with friends should be! This collection has be re-vamped and added to and it’s better than ever!
My second collection is brand new, and basically sums me up in a nutshell. If I’m not on my computer, I’m snuggled up somewhere with a good book or some Netflix. One thing is for sure sure though, I’ll be in my slippers and wrapped up in a blankie (even at my computer) because I’m always chilly!

There’s nothing like having that friend who knows you so well that you can have an entire conversation with just one look. You laugh together, cry together, and get into trouble together. She’s always there to pick you up when you fall… after she’s finished laughing at you, of course!

Are you a camper? We love going on long camping trips in the summer and exploring new places. In fact, our camping season often begins with the Easter long weekend! We go with a group of friends and set up canopies so we can stay out of the inevitable rain. There’s always a big feast on Easter Sunday that includes a deep fried turkey (so delicious!) and lots of good stuff to eat. It’s a really fun, albeit cold, weekend. That said, we mostly go in summer when it’s warm and sunny. So full disclosure here… when I say “camping” I really mean “glamping” because we have a big 5th wheel trailer with heat and AC and comfy beds! Hahaha… my tenting days are long since over!
