Baskets and Bunnies

Happy Easter! It’s the weekend for the Easter Bunny to make his appearance and leave lots of sweet treats to find! This year we won’t be celebrating with family and friends, but we can still make it special and fun. Normally we’d be off camping with friends, or home with family and attending church services, before heading out to an amazing brunch. This year I’ll be making eggs benny for the family, and will get to watch my grand-daughter’s first egg hunt! (I provide her daycare, so we do get to see them regularly, thank goodness!) However you are able to celebrate in these odd times, I hope that this weekend brings you joy, and chocolate!

Christmas Sparkle

I just love the sparkle and shine of Christmas time. The more the better, as far as I’m concerned! I always decorate with a mix of rustic and buffalo plaid with beautiful golds and silvers that gleam. Add some glitter and lights… pure joy! Black Friday Sale and So Many Goodies!

Happy Thanksgiving to my American friends! I suppose your celebrations aren’t looking quite like normal this year, but on the bright side, you won’t have all that socializing business distracting you from your scrapping!!! LOL Sweet Shoppe is having a huge storewide sale, so it’s a perfect time to dig in and get scrapping!

I have all sorts of goodies to show you, including a new collection, a returning favourite, and even a mini… so let’s get right to it!

This first collection just makes me happy! I just love the purples and blues combined with the golds and brown. It’s jam-packed with goodies and pretty things. I’m rather pleased with it, I must admit!

This next collection is new to Sweet Shoppe, but some of you may recognize it. It’s better than ever, with new pocket cards and of course a bundle as well!

Summer Memories Never Fade

I had the privilege of working with Rubia of Studio Basic Designs this week. I always love working with Ru. She pushes me out of my comfort zone and helps me (I believe) become a better designer. And who doesn’t love her artsy/messy style… I know I sure do!!!

Our kit this week is about saying goodbye to summer. It’s a mix of soft, rosy hues and warm yellows, just like you’d see in late afternoon at the end of a summer’s day, on the verge of autumn. Can I just say that I absolutely love how this one turned out!
