The best thing about memories is making them!
Sometimes the best thing of all is just being at home. Whether alone or with your family, it’s the place you can let yourself go and just be. Me at home? Typically you’ll find me in my jammie pants, cozy sweater and slippers, cup of coffee or glass of wine in hand (depending on time of day!) and hair up in a messy bun. Glamorous, maybe not… but oh so comfy!

It’s such a crazy, unusual time for us all. We’re self-isolating, staying home, and just trying to hang onto a shred of normalcy wherever possible in an unprecedented situation. Hopefully you’re able to find some blessings in the midst of all this turmoil in the world!

Empty Nest Syndrome… sounds so ominous, doesn’t it? The truth is, having an empty nest can be a double sided coin. On the one hand, you miss your babies terribly, but on the other hand… they’re finally out!!! LOL I almost made it to the empty nest stage but then went and had another, so I have a few years to go before I really get to enjoy it. In the meantime though, I’m trying to make the most of my time with my youngest, and trying to get in as much visiting time with the older three.
It’s exciting and a little bad sad all wrapped up in a cardboard box. Whether you’re moving to your first home, upgrading to a bigger one, or moving far away to a new one there is always a little nervous excitement wrapped up in those big cardboard boxes. As you’re unpacking those boxes just remember the song… be it ever so humble, there’s no place like home!
