Dead Over Heels

Halloween is almost upon us and I couldn’t let it go without a little something new.  Halloween kits are some of my favourites to create!  Dead Over Heels was inspired by a pillow I saw while out shopping the other day… I loved the idea and went to work.  I ended up making this whole collection in just two days (completely neglecting my school work and family in the process!  LOL)  At any rate, I just love how it all turned out.  The team did not disappoint when it came to pages either!  They created some serious eye candy to showcase this collection.  I made an off-theme page as well (the very last one below) to show that even super theme-y kits can be used for other purposes.  The photos I scrapped are from my stagette many years ago!

Falling

This week I’ve created a full collection that coordinates with my latest designer freebie (now available at the Shoppe).  Falling celebrates this beautiful season in life… both the colours of autumn and the sweet season of falling in love.  Featuring a soft colour palette with small bursts of brightness along with some cutie-patootie hedgehogs, you certainly find this collection to be both inspiring and easy to work with.  Check it out…

Smile Lines

It’s my birthday this weekend (I’m 52, but who’s counting!) and since it’s my birthday I felt like it was time to make a kit I’ve been thinking about for a while now.  Smile Lines is all about growing older with a bit of grace, and a whole lot of fun!  I honestly love the little smile lines I have around my eyes now.  They tell me that I’ve lived a good life full of smiles and laughter.  I think that’s something worth celebrating, don’t you?  Check it out…

This first page below is me completely unfiltered.  I’m using a template by the amazing Cindy Schneider and as soon as I saw it I knew what I wanted to do with it.  I felt pretty silly taking a bunch of selfies, but I love how it turned out.  So this is me at 52… no makeup, no filter, just me!

Between Coffee and Wine

Happy Mother’s Day to all you dedicated moms out there!  It’s often a thankless job, but I can’t imagine a more wonderful one.  This week I’ve created a fun collection that pays homage to all of you just trying to get through each day with a little humour (not to mention that coffee and wine!)  I sure had some good giggles creating it.  I even scrapped two pages!
