There’s just nothing like a beautiful sunny day at the water’s edge. Whether you love to fish or just float, the lake is definitely a place to go for some fun and relaxation. We spend a lot of time each summer in British Columbia’s southern interior, where there are many many gorgeous lakes to be found. (All surrounded by amazing wineries… bonus!) We camp and swim and drink wine… my idea of paradise!!!
Family Time
Family time is precious, no doubt about it. And while some days may feel like there’s been a little too much family time, thanks to Covid, overall it is a really precious thing. If one good thing has come out of this pandemic, it’s shown us how little “stuff” we really need in our lives! Our families and loved ones are more precious to us than ever, and that’s exactly how it should be!
This week’s release celebrates that wonderful time we get to spend together. Check it out…
I’ll continue to be featured designer over at Sweet Shoppe, and you can still pick up my kit A Sunshiny Day *FREE* with $10 purchase! Be on the look out as well for my Featured 15… these favourites of mine will be on sale Tuesday!
Baskets and Bunnies
Happy Easter! It’s the weekend for the Easter Bunny to make his appearance and leave lots of sweet treats to find! This year we won’t be celebrating with family and friends, but we can still make it special and fun. Normally we’d be off camping with friends, or home with family and attending church services, before heading out to an amazing brunch. This year I’ll be making eggs benny for the family, and will get to watch my grand-daughter’s first egg hunt! (I provide her daycare, so we do get to see them regularly, thank goodness!) However you are able to celebrate in these odd times, I hope that this weekend brings you joy, and chocolate!

Missing You
This month sees the anniversary of all the lockdowns and separation from friends and family. It’s been a tough year, no doubt. We’ve been separated from life really… just existing in a holding pattern and waiting for things to return to normal. Two of my adult children live in the US (I’m in Canada) and I can’t help but think in disbelief that it’s been over a year since I’ve seen them!!! I never ever thought in a million years that there would ever been a time when I’d go a whole year without seeing any one of my kids. This weeks release, Missing You, is all about that. Missing your loved ones, whether from social isolation, physical distance, or worse… the pain is there and it is real. Scrapping about it may prove therapeutic!
