My favourite place to be is always near the ocean. It’s truly where I feel I belong! And while I love any kind of ocean scene, I won’t deny that if the sand is white and the water is turquoise… well, I love it just that little bit more! Last year at this time I was just returning from a Caribbean cruise on which two of our friends got married. It’s so fun getting to go on vacation with all of your closest friends… all those memories and funny stories are shared! The cruise was lovely, but I did learn something… I’m most definitely a beach girl! My favorite parts of the trip (aside from the wedding of course) were the days we spent on the beaches. I must say though, that cruising is a really great way to see a few different places and maybe discover somewhere that you’d like to visit again! This week I’m re-releasing my Adventure: On the Sea series which I made after my cruise last year.

Happy Friday! This week I have the first in a new series I’m working on. We take a lot of trips (road trips, camping, and occasionally a tropical vacation) and so I thought it high time to start scrapping these adventures. And thus, my Adventure series! We were recently on a Caribbean cruise for a friend’s wedding and so I thought it was a fitting place to start.
Adventure On the Sea features a bright palette softened by watercolour elements and includes some cute sea creatures and beachy items for scrapping those shore excursions.
